Job Description

Job Title: Duty Manager Location: North London, N5 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience) Thomas Webb Recruitment is a specialist recruitment consultancy supporting London’s most prestigious residential developments with best-in-class front-of-house and operational staff. We are currently seeking a proactive and service-oriented Duty Manager to join a well-established private residential scheme in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced candidate with a background in residential property management or hospitality operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of planned preventative maintenance, contractor coordination, and customer service delivery within a leaseholder environment. Key Responsibilities: * Act as the first point of contact for residents, contractors, team members, and visitors * Lead and manage on-site staff to ensure a consistently high standard of service and presentation * Oversee contractor attendance and behaviour, ensuring all services are delivered to the required standard * Support ongoing asset management, including PPM routines, risk action plans, and mobilisation tasks * Take ownership of health & safety, ensuring all risks are identified, actioned, and recorded appropriately * Carry out daily operational checks, inspections, and reporting, using smart technology and internal systems * Deliver excellent customer service, handling queries and complaints with professionalism and care * Ensure compliance with data protection, company procedures, and industry standards Candidate Requirements: * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Duty Manager, Concierge Manager, Head Concierge or residential operations role * Strong working knowledge of PPMs, M&E systems, compliance, and contractor coordination * Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a small on-site team * Confident communicator with strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach * Comfortable using smart property management systems and digital tools * Solid understanding of health & safety principles and risk management * Committed to safety, service quality, and ongoing improvement * Eligible to work in the UK Please note: Only candidates who meet all key requirements will receive a response.
