Data Engineers – AI/ML & National Security
Location: Gloucester (Hybrid)
Clearance Required: Must hold active UKIC/MOD DV Clearance
Salary Range: £85,000–£115,000+ (based on experience, seniority, and impact potential)

As a Data Engineer, you’ll work directly with customers to build and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines that transform raw data into actionable intelligence. You’ll be hands-on with:
Data pipeline orchestration using tools like Apache NiFi
Streaming & batch data ingestion with Apache Kafka
ETL processing in Groovy, Python, or Java
Database design across SQL and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB)
Data integration & enrichment from diverse sources
Security-first architecture for sensitive data environments
Operational support & troubleshooting in live systemsSenior candidates will also contribute to architectural decisions, mentor teams, and help shape delivery strategy in secure domains.
