Full Stack Software Engineer – National Security Projects
Location: Hybrid, 3-4 days on-site
Clearance: MUST HOLD ACTIVE DV CLEARANCE

You’ll be part of a trusted team working at the heart of UK National Security, solving complex problems with cutting-edge tools — and doing it fast.
We’re looking for curious, adaptable Full Stack Engineers who thrive on variety, love learning new tech “just in time,” and want to work on systems that genuinely make a difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
Building secure, scalable software across the stack — from slick UIs to robust APIs and data pipelines
Collaborating with users, researchers, and engineers to shape solutions from concept to deployment
Working in agile teams to deliver working software at pace
Translating ideas into clean, test-driven code that’s easy to maintain and open by default
Designing and integrating components across cloud, containerised, and on-prem environments
Helping shape strategy and tech direction in a fast-moving, mission-led environment
Tech You Might Use We don’t expect you to know it all — but if you’ve worked with any of the following, you’ll hit the ground running:
Languages: Python, Java, Golang, JavaScript, C++
Front End: React, Vue.js, AngularJS
Back End / Web: Node.js, Nginx, Caddy, Uvicorn
Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
Cloud & Containers: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
Scripting: Bash, PowerShell
