Job Title: Dynatrace SME
Location: London / Gloucester / Warrington (Hybrid)
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract – Inside IR35 (PAYE)
Rate: £385 Inside IR35
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Dynatrace SME to join a leading technology programme within a major enterprise environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining observability solutions to deliver full visibility across cloud and on-prem environments.
You’ll leverage Dynatrace’s full technology stack — including Real User Monitoring, Full-Stack Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring, and Log Management — to drive proactive performance management and scalability through automation.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deploy observability solutions using Dynatrace.
* Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
* Integrate monitoring solutions across AWS and Azure.
* Develop automation scripts and CI/CD integrations.
* Collaborate closely with engineering and cloud teams to improve performance visibility.
* Create reusable modules and documentation for self-service enablement.
Key Skills & Experience
* UK Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.
* Strong experience with Dynatrace and observability concepts (RUM, Synthetic, Logs, Metrics, Tracing).
* Hands-on with Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD tools.
* Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and modern development practices.
* Familiarity with AWS and Azure environments.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information
* Must be willing to work out of hours or on-call (ROTA basis) when required.
