Job Description
E&I Inspector required for a major Renewable Energy Developer based in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
Inspection of Electrical & Instrumentation installations per ITP/ITR requirements.
Review contractor ITPs, procedures, documents.
Sign off on the ITRs , working on the AP Completions software.
Compile, manage and sign off the test packs.
Assist Site Quality with relevant reporting to Project/Management.
Participate in site meetings (internal and contractor).
At all times, adhere to AP EH&S requirements & any site policy and restrictions.
Manage and issue Punch-lists, Non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
Foresee impediments, bring to the notice of site management and proactively suggest solutions.
Create daily/weekly site reports.
Accompany walk down of site systems.
Managing punch-list & NCR resolution with site contractors.
Assisting commissioning teams wherever required for closure of punch-points.
Witness Site Acceptance Test.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality issues.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding technology.Requirements
Proven work experience as a Quality Control Inspector at sites.
Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, site maps, blueprints.
Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
Ability to refer, interpret and advise implementation of E&I equipment supplier's instructions manuals.
Primary education with a degree in electrical or instrumentation background.
Trained & certified to the relevant level of ATEX.
Significant experience working in the oil and gas related industry on Onshore Plants.
