EAL Support Assistant – Community Language Champion | North Manchester
Are you fluent in English and speak one (or more) of the local community languages spoken in North Manchester? Passionate about helping young people thrive in school? We want you on our team!
We're looking for a dedicated EAL (English as an Additional Language) Support Assistant to join our diverse, vibrant school community. You’ll support students with limited English, helping them access the curriculum, settle into school life, and succeed — both in and out of the classroom.
What you’ll need:
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Ability to speak one or more community languages (e.g. Urdu, Arabic, Polish, Romanian, etc.)
A warm, patient, and culturally aware approach
Experience working with children or young people (school-based or community work ideal)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
