Early Career Teacher (ECT) Location: Grimsby Salary: £120 – £140 per day (Depending on Experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to begin your teaching journey in supportive and welcoming schools across Grimsby? GSL Education are currently seeking passionate and motivated ECTs to work in a variety of schools in the Grimsby area. Whether you’re looking for day-to-day supply to broaden your experience or a long-term placement to complete your induction, we offer opportunities that are tailored to your career goals and professional development. As an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have the chance to build confidence in classroom management, refine your teaching skills, and gain valuable insight into the workings of different school environments. Early Career Teacher Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse pupils Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team planning Promote positive behaviour and encourage academic achievement Contribute to school life, including events and enrichment activities Engage in CPD and reflect on teaching practice for continuous growth Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies Requirements for the Role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) awarded through a recognised route Sound knowledge of the national curriculum Strong communication and classroom management skills Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with school staff A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching Updated CV and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Why Join GSL Education?
