Early Career Teacher
Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to take your first steps into a rewarding teaching role? About the role
Working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), you will deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity and a love for learning. You'll receive support every step of the way to develop your confidence, refine your teaching practice, and grow professionally.
Key responsibilities include
• Planning and delivering interactive lessons that meet the developmental needs of EYFS pupils
• Creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
• Working closely with teaching assistants and senior staff to support all learners
• Participating in CPD sessions, staff meetings, and whole-school activities
What we’re looking for
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS by September 2025
• A passion for early years education and child development
• A reflective, proactive, and collaborative approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
