Salary Range: £120 - £160 per day (Depending on experience)
Start time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you an Early Career Teacher ready to launch your teaching journey and make a real impact from day one?
GSL Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for long-term teaching roles starting this September across Derbyshire and surrounding areas. Opportunities are available across all key stages, with supportive schools eager to welcome passionate new teachers into their classrooms.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of your pupils.
Support pupil progress through effective planning, differentiation, and assessment.
Create a positive and safe classroom environment that fosters learning and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every learner.
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
Reflect on your practice and participate in mentoring and CPD to meet ECT induction requirements.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS (Summer 2025).
Strong understanding of the curriculum and a passion for education.
A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic teaching style.
Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Willingness to engage fully with ECT induction support.
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
