Job Description

Anderson Knight is working exclusively with a well-established and progressive professional services firm, seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Careers Adviser to help shape and deliver the organisation’s early careers programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team that’s passionate about opening up career pathways, improving access, and supporting future talent across the UK. About the Role This role sits within the wider People function and is central to the development and delivery of outreach, recruitment, and development initiatives for early career joiners. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage school leaver, graduate, apprenticeship, and career changer initiatives—ensuring an inclusive, engaging, and impactful experience from attraction through to development. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and deliver outreach programmes such as work experience placements, virtual insight sessions, and internship opportunities. * Partner with internal recruitment teams and hiring managers to support hiring campaigns, assessment centres, and onboarding activities. * Lead and facilitate early careers attraction events both virtually and in person, targeting schools, universities, and other networks. * Build and maintain strong external relationships with training providers, educational institutions, and early talent networks. * Ensure a high-quality candidate experience across all touchpoints, including “keep warm” engagement and onboarding journeys. * Support the planning and delivery of development activities for early career colleagues, including graduate schemes and apprenticeship programmes. * Contribute to the design and facilitation of training content as part of structured early careers development pathways. * Act as a key point of contact and advisor to internal stakeholders on early careers policies, timelines, and best practice. * Actively support diversity and inclusion objectives across early careers activities and partnerships. What We’re Looking For * A confident and engaging communicator with strong presentation and facilitation skills. * Proven experience supporting or managing early careers programmes (e.g. graduates, apprentices, school leavers, or career changers). * Good understanding of the UK early careers landscape and student recruitment market. * Knowledge of apprenticeship design and funding frameworks is desirable. * Experience with learning and development tools or digital learning platforms is a plus. * Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. * Experience in a professional or financial services environment is beneficial. * Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. * Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK to support outreach and development events. Why Apply? * Join a purpose-driven organisation that values inclusive career development. * Play a key role in shaping how future talent is attracted, developed, and retained. * Enjoy a flexible, supportive working culture with hybrid working options.
