Job Description

Early Help / Mash Worker Are you passionate about early intervention and safeguarding children? We're looking for a proactive and skilled Early Help / MASH Worker to join our integrated front door service, supporting vulnerable children and families across the Midlands. This hybrid role combines the fast-paced decision-making of MASH with the supportive, preventative approach of Early Help - ensuring the right support is offered at the right time. Key responsibilities include: Screening and triaging contacts and referrals received into the MASH. Gathering and analysing information from partner agencies to assess need and level of risk. Signposting or referring families to appropriate Early Help, targeted, or statutory services. Supporting families through short-term interventions to prevent escalation of need. Working closely with social workers, schools, health, police, and other partners to ensure a joined-up approach. We're looking for an Early Help / MASH Worker which: Has experience working with children and families in Early Help, family support, or safeguarding. Understands thresholds of need and the importance of timely, proportionate intervention. Is confident in multi-agency working and information-sharing.
