Location: Halton
Salary: £21.77 ltd per hour
Contract Type: Initial 3 months, with possibility of extension
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a compassionate, driven, and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our Early Help Team. This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to empower families, strengthen communities, and support children to thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing: As a Family Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in delivering early intervention and wraparound support to families facing a range of challenges. You’ll:
Provide structured, evidence-based parenting support tailored to individual family needs.
Work directly with children and young people, promoting their emotional wellbeing, school attendance, and personal safety.
Act as a key worker, leading on Multi-Agency Plans (MAPs) and liaising with schools, healthcare professionals, and social services.
Develop and regularly review individual care and support plans, ensuring they meet service standards and deliver real impact.
Maintain accurate case records and contribute to a strong safeguarding culture across our services.
What We’re Looking For: We want someone who brings both experience and empathy to the role. You’ll need:
Proven experience working with children, young people, and families in a support or key worker capacity.
A sound understanding of early help, safeguarding, and multi-agency working.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
A Level 3 or above qualification in a relevant field such as Health & Social Care, Youth Work, or Early Years.
