TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a friendly and well-established private day nursery in Trafford. This welcoming setting currently supports around 70 children, offering a safe, nurturing environment where learning through play is at the heart of everything they do.
All staff are trained in the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding, ensuring they can provide the best care and learning opportunities. The nursery delivers a wide range of engaging activities designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop key motor and cognitive skills.
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years.
Whether you’ve looked after children in a personal or voluntary capacity, or you're just starting your journey into childcare, this role offers a supportive environment to grow and learn.
You’ll be working as part of a close-knit team, learning how to deliver high-quality care while supporting children’s development across all areas. This nursery has recently been rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, reflecting its commitment to excellent standards.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Is keen to learn and develop new skills within the Early Years sector
Is excited to undertake training in key areas such as Safeguarding and the EYFS framework
Has a caring, positive and enthusiastic attitude when working with children
