Early Years Educator
Pay: £27,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
Duties
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play
* Support children's emotional, social, and physical development
* Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in line with health and safety regulations
* Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues
* Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
* Lead by example in demonstrating management and leadership skills within the team
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare
* Assist with organising outings or trips, including driving when necessary
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery’s curriculum and policies
Person Specification
* Must have Level 3 Early Years / Nursery Practitioner / Childcare Diploma
* Passionate about supporting children's development and creating a nurturing environment
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
* Demonstrated management and leadership skills within a childcare environment
* Experience with organising activities that support child development
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
