Teaching Assistant – The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support children in Early Years and KS1, helping to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to support both whole-class learning and 1:1 and small group interventions, including working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering engaging and interactive lessons in Early Years and KS1
* Support children with their learning and development, ensuring they reach their full potential
* Provide 1:1 and small group support, including working with children with SEN
* Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to implement learning strategies
Teaching Assistant – Requirements
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in Early Years or KS1 (preferred but not essential)
* A passion for supporting young learners and early childhood development
* Experience working with SEN pupils is desirable
* Proactive, patient, and adaptable to different learning needs
* A team player with strong communication skills
