Job Description

Early Years Practitioner - Level 3 Qualified - Bedford Primary Schools - Term-time Only

Start: January | Long-Term | Paid to Scale

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a supportive and well-resourced schools within the Bedford area. This long-term position offers the opportunity to work within an established Early Years team, helping to create a nurturing, engaging and high-quality learning environment for young children.

Tradewind are looking for motivated Early Years professionals who make the most of every interaction with the children.

This is a full-time, term-time only role and will be temporary in the first instance.

Key Responsibilities:
 * Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum
 * Lead small groups and early learning activities, promoting development through play
 * Contribute to observations, assessments and learning journals
 * Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all pupils
 * Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
 * Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

Requirements:

* Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential)
 * Experience working within a nursery or school-based Early Years setting
 * Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
 * Excellent communication skills and a proactive, caring approach
 * Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the update service
