Job Description

Are you passionate about nurturing the development of young children? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner for a long-term role, starting this September, in one of our welcoming primary schools based in East Leeds. The position is for at least 2 terms with a possible opportunity of a direct contract for the right person. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated Early Years Practitioner to become part of a supportive school community that values creativity, inclusivity, and child-centred learning. You will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social and educational development of children in the early years setting. Key Responsibilities: Work as an Early Years Practitioner within the EYFS team to support children's learning and development Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework Observe and asses individual progress, tailoring support to meet the needs of each child Build strong relationships with children, parents and staff Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environmentRequirements: Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner in a school or nursery setting A genuine passion for working with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills A current DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)This Early Years Practitioner role offers the opportunity to work in a positive and inclusive environment where your contribution will be highly valued.
