Supply Qualified Practitioner Location: Private Day Nurseries across Keighley Job Type: Supply / Temporary Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience Are you a passionate and dedicated early years professional looking for flexible work across Keighley? We are currently seeking a Supply Qualified Practitioner to join our team of talented and caring professionals working across a range of private day nurseries in Keighley. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is looking for the flexibility of supply work, while still making a significant impact in the lives of young children. About the Role: As a Supply Qualified Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years care and education, supporting children's development, and ensuring that all learning activities are both fun and educational. You will be working with children aged 0-5 years across a variety of nursery settings, stepping in to cover staff shortages as required. Key Responsibilities: Provide high standards of care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Support children's individual development through engaging activities. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Work as part of a team to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and staff as required. Maintain a professional attitude while adapting to different nursery settings. Essential Requirements: Qualified Level 3 or above in Childcare (or equivalent). Proven experience working with young children, ideally within a nursery or early years setting. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. A DBS check (we can assist with this if you don't already have one). A positive, energetic, and proactive approach to work. Ability to adapt quickly and work well within different nursery environments. Desirable: Experience in working with children with additional needs.
