Join a Lovely Romford Primary School as an Early Years Practitioner - Full-Time for the Academic Year Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school near Romford, set in beautiful rural surroundings with spacious grounds. The school is currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to support children in the EYFS on a full-time basis for the academic year. This role is also an excellent opportunity for nursery practitioners looking to move into a school setting, where hours are more structured and you benefit from term-time only working. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a supportive team, making a real difference in the early development of young children. The school prides itself on its nurturing environment, play-based learning, and strong community ethos. If you have experience working in Early Years/ nursery settings - particularly supporting children with communication and language development, early literacy and numeracy, or social and emotional needs - this could be the ideal role for you. Training in phonics, PECS or Makaton is desirable but not essential. Job Summary Job Title: Early Years Practitioner Location: Romford - Accessible by car (on-site car park) and local bus routes Pay: £90 per day minimum (PAYE) Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: Full-time, term time onlyRequirements for an Early Years Practitioner Experience supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ideally in a nursery or primary school setting CACHE Level 3 qualification Knowledge of the EYFS framework and ability to deliver age-appropriate learning activities Desirable: Training or experience with phonics, PECS or Makaton Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for supporting children's early development Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow direction from class teachers and the EYFS leadCompliance Criteria To be considered for this role, you must meet the following: An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one Full CV covering employment history with any gaps explained Proof of right to work in the UK Two professional references covering the last two years Proof of address and original documents for identity and safeguarding checksWhy Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
