Early Years Educator - LS16
Full-Time | Permanent | 4 or 5 Days per Week Large, Independent Nursery Group
Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Educator looking to grow your career in a supportive, well-established setting? Our large, off-chain nursery group in LS16 is seeking a dedicated professional to join our vibrant team.
About the Role
You'll play a vital part in delivering high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5, guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting children's development across the seven areas of learning
Creating a safe, stimulating environment that promotes active learning, critical thinking, and positive relationships
Observing and assessing progress using Development Matters and contributing to individual learning journeys
Collaborating with colleagues to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities
Building strong partnerships with families and carers

What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
Passion for child development and early education
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and characteristics of effective learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
