Early Years Practitioners / Teaching Assistants – Medway

Contract: Full Time, Long Term (until at least July 2026)

About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner or Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Work closely with nursery-aged children, both individually and in small groups, to support their development.
Help create a stimulating, inclusive, and caring environment where children feel safe and inspired to learn.
Assist with observing and documenting children’s progress and developmental milestones.
Prepare resources, set up engaging play-based activities, and contribute to the smooth running of the nursery day.
Support children with special educational needs (SEND) where required.
What We’re Looking For
A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma).
Experience supporting children in Nursery or Reception settings (school-based or private nursery experience welcome).
A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and how to apply it in practice.
A calm, patient, and nurturing personality with a genuine passion for early years education.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with staff and families.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
