We're looking for a confident and skilled practitioner to join our Early Years SEND Team-a dedicated group providing early intervention and statutory support for children with SEND.
What You'll Do
As an Early Years SEND Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting Early Years providers-including nurseries, preschools, and childminders-by:
Conducting observations and identifying developmental needs
Offering tailored advice and modelling effective strategies
Supporting smooth and successful transitions into school
Empowering settings to create inclusive, high-quality learning environments for all children
Tracking progress and evaluating the impact of interventionsYou'll manage your own caseload, working both independently and collaboratively with an experienced team, ensuring that children's needs are met in a timely and impactful way.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who:
✔ Has hands-on experience working in an Early Years setting
✔ Builds strong, effective relationships with children, families, and professionals
✔ Is confident in using IT systems to monitor and report progress
✔ Can work flexibly across multiple settings, including Family Hubs and our central office at Gun Wharf
✔ Holds a full UK driving licence and is comfortable working in a mobile role
