Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a Family Centre as part of Barnsley Council. This is a temporary contract working 37 hours per week for a period of 3 months with a view to extend.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging play and educational activities based on children’s interests.
*
Supervise children during play, mealtimes and personal care, encouraging independence.
*
Operate as a key person, tracking progress, setting targets, and maintaining accurate records.
*
Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and partner agencies.
*
Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
*
Support safeguarding, health & safety, and equal opportunities policies.
About You
*
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent).
*
Experience working in childcare settings, particularly with children aged 0–5 years.
*
Knowledge of early years development, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
