Location: South Woodford, London (E18)
Salary: Up to £36,413 per annum + up to £2,000 performance bonus
Hours: 36 hours (4 days) or 45 hours (5 days) per week
An established and high-quality early years setting in South Woodford, London (E18) is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Teacher to join its dedicated team. Working Hours
• Option 1: 36 hours per week (8am–6pm over 4 days)
• Option 2: 45 hours per week (8am–6pm over 5 days)
About the Role
As a EYFS Teacher, you will take responsibility for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring that every child receives outstanding care and education. You will act as a role model for best practice, mentoring staff and ensuring all teaching is aligned with the EYFS framework and the setting’s learning philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences across the EYFS
• Plan and implement creative, child-centred activities that inspire curiosity and development
• Track, assess, and document children’s progress against EYFS outcomes
• Provide guidance and mentoring to practitioners and support staff
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers to support home learning
• Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, Ofsted, and early years standards
• Promote an inclusive, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for all children
About You
• Minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Years Education / QTS / EYTS / EYPS / BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies or equivalent
• Proven experience delivering the EYFS curriculum in an early years or nursery setting
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Passionate about providing exceptional early years education and supporting children’s individual needs
