teach now is seeking a passionate and experienced early years teaching assistant to join a thriving and welcoming primary school in barnet this september. this is a full-time, permanent position, perfect for someone who is confident, caring, and committed to supporting young children at the very beginning of their educational journey.
you will be working in a reception class on a 1:1 basis, supporting a child with emerging additional needs. although specific diagnoses have not yet been confirmed, the school is looking for someone who can provide consistent, nurturing support and adapt strategies to meet a variety of early developmental needs. your role will also include delivering phonics, supporting structured learning activities, and helping children transition smoothly through play-based learning.
