Job Description
Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a welcoming primary school in Ellesmere Port. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community on an ongoing basis from next half term, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
The Role:
1. Supporting pupils across Early Years & KS1, working with individuals, small groups, and whole-class activities.
2. Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
3. Helping to create an inclusive, engaging, and positive learning environment.
4. Providing extra support to pupils with specific learning needs.
5. Encouraging pupil progress, confidence, and independence.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Previous experience working with primary-aged children. (Ideally EYFS)
2. A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. Patience, empathy, and flexibility.
5. Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA qualification desirable but not essential).
