Job Description

We are working with a friendly primary school in Potters Bar (EN6) who are seeking a Nursery Assistant to support within their Early Years setting.

This role is ideal for someone looking to for a term time only role with school hours, supporting children in a nurturing and structured environment.

Location: Potters Bar, EN6
Start Date: September 2026
Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full‑time, term‑time only
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  * Support children within the nursery / Early Years setting

  * Assist with play‑based learning and daily activities

  * Help maintain a safe and engaging environment

  * Support routines, transitions, and general classroom activities

  * Work alongside Early Years staff to support development

About You:

  * Must have a minimum of one year Nursery experience

  * Patient, caring, and enthusiastic

  * Willing to learn and take on training where needed

  * Good communication and teamwork skills
