Early Years Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Brent (September Start)
ANZUK Education is working closely with a nurturing and well-resourced primary school in Brent, North West London, to recruit a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant for a September 2025 start. The successful candidate will be based in either the Nursery or Reception class depending on experience and school need.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have a passion for Early Years education and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. Whether you’re an experienced EYFS practitioner or have supported children in early years settings, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities
* Work closely with individual pupils and small groups to support their development across the EYFS curriculum
* Help to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment
* Assist with observations, assessments, and maintaining pupil records
* Support with daily routines including snack time, toileting, and transitions
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children in an Early Years or EYFS setting (school or nursery)
* A calm, nurturing, and engaging approach
* Strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework
* Good communication and collaboration skills
* A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Availability for full-time work starting September 2025
