Early Years Teaching Assistant – Primary – Kensington & Chelsea
Location: Kensington & Chelsea, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £90–£105
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Kensington & Chelsea is looking for a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. The role will be based in either Nursery or Reception, depending on your experience, and offers the chance to support children at a vital stage of their development.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with relevant EYFS experience – particularly those who have worked in nurseries or early years settings and are keen to transition into a mainstream primary school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting children in Nursery or Reception with learning and play-based activities
* Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Delivering small group interventions and early phonics support
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and preparation
* Promoting social, emotional, and language development
Requirements:
* Experience working in Early Years (nursery, preschool, or Reception class)
* Ideally Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare/EYFS
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach
* Knowledge of EYFS curriculum desirable
