Have you been responsible for vendor testing and site-based commissioning activities? Are you comfortable working on a shift pattern and leading small teams on-site? The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join a site-based team in Cumbria. This role is critical to the delivery of commissioning activities on a high-profile nuclear project and will involve planning, executing, and documenting commissioning phases. Your duties and responsibilities will be Witness and verify vendor test activities at works test stage Prepare and develop plant commissioning test specifications Conduct early inspection of site installations to support system handovers Lead testing activities throughout the IPC commissioning phase Identify and resolve faults; implement appropriate corrective actions Organise and coordinate Commissioning Technicians and support staff Initiate and implement Field Observation Reports (FOBs) Validate and verify Working Level Instructions (WLIs) Apply and remove Temporary Commissioning Aids (TCAs) You will have the following qualifications & experience: Proven experience with nuclear CE&I systems commissioning Minimum HNC/HND in an engineering-related subject Strong background in nuclear commissioning and testing procedures It’s great if you also have the following Project management knowledge (APM membership desirable) Proficient in producing calculations using Microsoft Excel IOSH Managing Safely certification SMSTS or SSSTS certification CSCS or ECS Supervisory Card (trade-relevant) The setting for the role This role is site-based in Cumbria The position may require a shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off, 12-hour rolling shifts  Millbank Holdings Ltd is an equal opportunities employer and respects diversity.
