Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced EC&I Commissioning Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering complex capital projects at Capenhurst. You’ll be the go-to for commissioning EC&I systems — from functional testing and documentation through to stakeholder sign-off and handover.

Leading EC&I commissioning activities — testing, troubleshooting, and handing over systems
Reviewing design deliverables and ensuring everything aligns with safety and regulatory standards
Working closely with other disciplines to ensure seamless system integration
Supporting readiness reviews, investigations, and formal handoversWhat you’ll bring:
A degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering (or similar)
Strong EC&I commissioning experience — ideally in nuclear, defence, or energy
Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems
Due to the security restrictions of the site, you will need to be a British citizen - need to be eligible for SC clearance.Bonus points if you’ve worked on high voltage systems — but it’s not a dealbreaker.
