As an Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of the gas sector while advancing your own professional journey.
Our client has truly innovated the gas industry and have paved the way developing technologies and solutions used throughout the UK. The next chapter for our is to aid in the gas industries transition to net zero and are looking for passionate people to join the Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Design Engineer team.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement innovative EC&I solutions aligned with ATEX and intrinsically safe circuit standards.
Integrate your designs within multi-disciplinary, sustainability-driven projects across the gas sector.
Lead technical problem-solving related to instrumentation and control systems.
Contribute to proposals, cost estimates, and project planning for successful delivery.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas to increase performance and efficiency.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture.
Requirements:
Minimum of HNC in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or a related field.
5 years or more of experience in implementing advanced E&C systems, specifically with a background in ATEX equipment and intrinsically safe circuits.
Problem-solving expertise with attention to detail
Proven experience in adapting to evolving projects and performing well under pressure.
