Innovative, growing business based in Yorkshire are now seeking an EC&I Engineer at either Engineer or Senior level to join the team working with a leading client base UK and worldwide. You will join a company offering a broad range of unique projects with a stable team.
EC&I Engineer
£45,000 - £55,000 salary + Hybrid working, Overtime, Healthcare & more

We are seeking a skilled Engineer confident supporting EPC's with complex electrical designs, who ideally is competent with ATEX in highly regulated environments with solid experience of machinery safety.
EC&I Engineer– The Role:
Take part in the tendering process – review specifications, create deviation lists and negotiating scope of supply
Choose skid electrical components based on project specification and create the BOM – Instrument fittings, glands, cables, cable trays etc.
Work within the requirements of ISO9001 and ISO3834 Quality System
Understand contracts with respect to the electrical and instrumentation scope of supply for centrifuge packages
Prepare P&ID to company and customer requirements
Complete engineering documents such as instrument lists, IO list, cable list, interconnection diagram
Compile FAT & SAT documents
Liaise with other departments including sales, production & purchasing to ensure projects are delivered on time
EC&I Engineer– The Person:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar industry
Electrical Design experience – AutoCAD would be great but all packages considered as training will be provided
Self-motivated and willing to be flexible with travel
Beneficial to have some mechanical engineering knowledge
Ideal for Engineers comfortable working within highly regulated environments with specific documentation such as Oil & Gas or Nuclear
The core element of this role is electrical design, however should you have additional PLC Software ability that would be advantageous.
This company has increased turnover by £5M over the last 12 months alone with a large amount of projects to complete. Located in West Yorkshire, this role would be commutable from Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds and surrounding areas
