EC&I Engineer
Role Overview
The EC&I Engineer will support the delivery of a mechanical and electrical (M&E) package in a nuclear environment near Reading, focusing on ensuring outsourced EC&I design meets project requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee EC&I design and build elements.
Review and validate subcontractor drawings and documentation.
Raise and resolve technical queries.
Support project scheduling and delivery.
Witness factory acceptance tests and project sign-off.
Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.Required Experience & Skills
Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in regulated industries (preferably nuclear).
Strong understanding of project lifecycle and electrical safety standards (e.g., 18th Edition, BS EN 13849).
Familiarity with AutoCAD and PLCs.
Technical writing and documentation skills.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 environments.Qualifications
ECS Card (essential).
Eligible for SC clearance (required).
