Job Description
Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with an engineering business with over 40 years' experience across civil nuclear, defence and nuclear consultancy work to recruit an EC&I Engineer for its Chorley site.
The EC&I Engineer role comes with a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Principal EC&I Engineer you will:
Produce of CE&I design concepts, e.g. (SLD's, BCD's, cable schedules, layouts, etc) and technical specifications.
Produce of Commissioning documentation, e.g. FAT and SAT.
Attend and witnessing of Commissioning activities. · Produce and maintain quality records
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
· Engineering related qualification (HNC/HND/Beng/Meng)
Personal skills
The EC&I Engineer role would suit someone who has:
· Broad experience across design and manufacturing
· Design of electrical systems
· Low voltage control gear
· Ability to create and work from line diagrams.
Salary and benefits of the EC&I Engineer role
· A base salary between £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
· 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
