EC&I Technician - Power Station
📍 Seascale, Cumbria | 💷 £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus & Benefits | 🗓️ Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician/Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking power generation business?
We're recruiting for an EC&I Technician to join the maintenance team at a CHP facility in Cumbria, where you'll provide technical support, fault resolution, and ongoing improvement across critical C&I systems.

✅ Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical, control & instrumentation maintenance across the plant.
Support site safety schemes, including incident investigations and near-miss reporting.
Ensure all C&I assets comply with HSEQ standards.
Perform fault finding, testing, and system implementation (including SCADA).
Develop and implement engineering procedures, instructions, and method statements.
Provide support during planned and unplanned outages.
🎯 Candidate Profile:
Experience in Energy from Waste or power generation (advantageous).
Open to candidates from heavy process industries (petrochemical, oil & gas, offshore, anaerobic digestion).
Engineers with a Royal Navy background will also be considered.
Recognised EC&I apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills with a safety-first mindset.
