About the Role:
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Ecologist to support their growing Cardiff-based team. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and carry out ecological field surveys
Analyse and interpret survey data
Act as Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW)
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders
What Our Client is Looking For:
A degree in ecology or a related field
Membership of CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management)
Strong protected species survey skills - especially hazel dormouse
Ability to lead protected species surveys (CIEEM Capable level)
FISC Level 3+ (desirable) or equivalent field identification skills
Protected species licences (desirable but not essential)
Strong communication and teamworking skills
Full UK/EEC driving licence
