A primary school in Morecambe LA4 area are seeking a full time KS1 teacher to join their team in January 2026, starting as a temporary position but with the opportunity to go onto a school-based contract for the right candidate. This small primary school is looking for an experienced teacher, who has knowledge on the whole KS1 curriculum and can encourage an inclusive and engaging environment for the children to learn.
This school are looking for proactive and creative ECT who will be able to develop a clear and measurable curriculum that can be adapted to a range of different needs in the classroom. The school will offer consistent support from the SLT and the other KS1 teachers.
Ideally, the school would like a teacher with previous experience working with a range of different special educational needs specifically sensory/physical needs, due to the high percentage of SEN children in the school, this teacher will need to provide lesson plans that are inclusive for all the children’s requirements.
This is a great opportunity for an ECT who wants to complete their induction and gain further experience in a small but supportive primary school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
