About the Role:
As an ECT Primary Teacher, you will be supported in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum. You’ll work alongside experienced educators and benefit from a nurturing environment that values professional development and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities of the ECT Primary Teacher:
Deliver creative and high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to support all learners.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
Work closely with colleagues and mentors to enhance your teaching practice.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
Promote high standards of behaviour and a love for learning.
ECT Primary Teacher Requirements:
A degree in Primary Education or a related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A genuine passion for teaching and a desire to grow professionally.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
A reflective approach to teaching and a willingness to learn.
An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
