Main roles and Responsibilities –
Participate in planning and staff meetings.
Teaching all pupils in your class according to the National curriculum.
Targeting and adapting the lesson to the specific needs of each child.
Completing all records and assessments determined by the school’s policy.
Making use of ICT to enhance understanding of tasks and lessons.
Organising resources for the subject/area so that they are accessible, orderly, well labelled and appropriate.
Involve pupils in self and peer assessment.
Using a variety of teaching and learning styles to ensure and maintain high standards of learning, behaviour and progress in the class.
Attend all assessment, progression and development meetings as well as parents evening.
Create and build appropriate teacher – parent relationships.
Prepare pupils for going into next academic year.
Liase with other teachers regarding pupil information and needs.
Always operate within the set policies of the school.
Leading classes by giving lectures, demonstrating tasks, assigning tasks and encouraging discussions
Answering students questions
Setting homework or exercises for students to practice their skills after class
Key skills and requirements –
Be studying your PGCE (ECT ONLY)
Experience in KS1 AND KS2.
A good understanding of the curriculum and behavioural management techniques.
Reliable.
Punctual.
Compassionate.
IT competent.
Presentable and professional.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
