Editorial Coordinator (Part-Time- Maternity Contract)
21 hours per week | Colchester | £27,000 pro rata
Nolan Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Colchester‑based client for a part-time Editorial Coordinator to support the day-to-day coordination of a portfolio of publications. This is to cover maternity leave.
This role is well suited to someone highly organised and detail‑focused, with experience coordinating processes, supporting stakeholders and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate editorial and review processes from submission through to completion
* Act as the main point of contact for editors, publishers and internal teams
* Ensure agreed processes and policies are followed
* Track workflows, manage deadlines and support continuous improvements
* Support editor onboarding, handovers and scheduled reviews
* Produce activity and performance reports
* Coordinate meetings and annual planning activity
* Support digital marketing campaigns, including email and social media
* Monitor engagement and performance against KPIs
* Support events and promotional activity where required
The ideal Candidate:
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator with strong written skills
* Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Experience in editorial coordination, publishing, communications, or administration is desirable
