As an EDM Machinist, you will:
Set up and operate multiple EDM machines while adhering to safety protocols
Ensure the quality and inspection of your work, taking ownership of your tasks
Capture all production and non-productive hours accurately
Monitor machine performance and conduct cycle inspections
Collaborate effectively during shift handovers to maintain seamless operations
Report non-conforming parts and contribute to root cause analysisEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Proven experience operating EDM and wire machines
Strong understanding of CNC machine code and setup parameters
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Familiarity with Duplex and Nickel Alloy materials
Excellent numerical and literacy skills for metric conversions
Good communication skills to foster teamworkDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Experience in workshop practises and EDM/Wire process improvement
Familiarity with parts inspections using gauges
