Permanent
Salary / rate depending on experience
Monday – Wednesday 4:30pm – 2:30am – Thursday 4:30pm – 1:30am

Are you a EDM Operator. looking to take the next step in your career by joining a leading precision component manufacturer, primarily operating in the Aerospace sector? Our client is well-established within the Manufacturing sector and are looking for a confident and passionate EDM Operator with experience of setting and operating wire-EDM machines.

Job Description
Use and control of EDM machines
Ability to read and understand CNC machine code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets.
Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards
Experienced set and operating EDM or multi-axis CNC machines
Well-versed working within a high-precision industry, on precision components / products (aerospace, automotive, rail, automotive, nuclear etc)
