Job Description
EDM Operator - Nights
* Opportunity for a CNC Machinist who is looking to specialize and become an EDM Operator.
* Full training provided on EDM provided. We are looking for someone with general machine operating experience that is looking to develop new skills within this area.
* Permanent Nightshift available – Unique pattern that offers a lot of downtime, working only 12 shifts during a 28 day period. This covers only 1 weekend in 4.
* Working hours 6:00pm to 6:00am.
Salary: c£33,000 per annum initially rising up to £38,000 after training and development over time.
EDM Operator Activities & Responsibilities:
* Setting and operating specialist EDM equipment.
* Reading engineering drawings for production.
* Ensuring quality of products are to a high standard.
Required Skills & Experience as CNC EDM Operator:
* Proven experience as a Machinist / CNC Operator.
* Eagerness to learn or have some prior knowledge of EDM processes.
* Used to working within a precision engineering environment.
* Flexibility to work a rotating nightshift pattern.
