What You Will Do:
- Develop and refine design proposals for electric drive unit (EDU) projects, ensuring innovative and credible solutions.
- Conduct package assessments and concept development to evaluate and enhance design proposals.
- Investigate potential incremental improvements for future developments and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate design solutions and resolve on-cycle issues.
- Manage 3D assemblies, create detailed component and assembly drawings, and ensure alignment with manufacturing standards.
- Identify and implement standards, processes, and tools to optimise design and align with best practices.
What You Will Bring:
- Proficiency in 3D modelling tools, preferably CATIA V6, and knowledge of GD&T and general drafting.
- A proven track record of delivering innovative design solutions within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong project management and issue resolution skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in Agile project delivery and a detailed understanding of EDU design.
- A Degree in Engineering or a related field, showcasing your technical expertise and knowledge.
