What You Will Do:
- Develop design proposals for Electric Drive Units, including package assessments and concept development, ensuring credibility and feasibility.
- Investigate potential design improvements for future upgrades and enhancements.
- Support cross-functional teams in resolving on-cycle issues by generating and assessing design solutions.
- Manage 3D assemblies and create detailed component and assembly drawings for manufacturing purposes.
- Ensure adherence to the company's standards, processes, and tools while identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Highlight weaknesses and opportunities to align designs with best practices.
What You Will Bring:
- Proficiency in 3D modelling tools, preferably CATIA V6, and a strong understanding of GD&T and general drafting principles.
- A proven track record in delivering innovative design solutions within a technical environment.
- Experience in project management and resolving complex design issues effectively.
- Knowledge of Electric Drive Unit design and Agile project delivery methodologies is highly desirable.
- A degree in Engineering or a related field, showcasing your technical expertise and commitment to excellence.
