Rate: £18 - 21 ph (depending on experience)

Our client, a leading national children’s charity, is seeking several qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to join their dynamic and compassionate team.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering mental health support programme in educational settings, working directly with children, young people, school staff and parents/ carers to promote emotional wellbeing and early intervention.
About the Role
As an EMHP, you will deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, working closely with families, school staff, and other professionals.
You’ll also contribute to whole-school approaches to mental health, provide workshops, and help shape supportive environments where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering outcome focused, evidenced based interventions in education settings for children and young people (aged 5-18) experiencing mild to moderate emotional well-being and mental health issues
Working collaboratively with school staff and other professionals to support mental health initiatives and to ensure better access to mental health support
Supporting whole-school approaches through training, psychoeducation, and workshops
Contributing to the ongoing development and evaluation of the programme
Working in partnership with children, young people, parents/carers, families and educators in supporting the self-management of presenting issues
Essential Requirements for the role:
Qualified as an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP)
Experienced in working with children and young people
Confident working in school or educational settings
Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and empowering young people
Able to build trusted relationships with children, families, and professionals
