Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Oundle
Working Hours: 14:00 23:00, Monday to Sunday, on a 4 on / 4 off rota
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Role Overview
Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking a professional and proactive Security Officer to join their dedicated team. You will be working across a number of high-profile corporate and horticultural buildings, ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets.
This role involves a significant amount of walking throughout each shift, so applicants must be comfortable with sustained periods on their feet and covering large areas on patrol.
Key Responsibilities
*
Respond promptly to incidents, completing detailed incident reports and recording evidence.
*
Engage positively and professionally with students, staff, and members of the public.
*
Deliver excellent customer service with a positive and approachable attitude.
*
Handle inappropriate behaviour professionally and in line with site protocols.
*
Operate alarm systems (training provided).
*
Lock and secure campus buildings at designated times.
*
Work closely with the Security Site Lead to maintain high operational standards.
Qualifications & Skills
*
Valid SIA licence in the relevant sector.
*
Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
*
Confident with Excel and PC-based systems.
*
Excellent communication skills and flexibility towards working hours.
*
Reliable, trustworthy, and takes pride in daily responsibilities.
*
Strong team player with a proactive mindset.
*
Full UK driving licence is essential.
