Education Support Worker – Sunderland
Daily Rate: £90 to £110

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Education Support Workers for a comprehensive secondary school in Sunderland known for academic success and its commitment to honesty, respect, compassion, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
Support students’ learning, emotional wellbeing, and personal development
Assist with tailored strategies, learning plans, and behaviour support
Help foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Work with teachers and the SENCO to provide individual and small-group support
Monitor progress and share feedback with staff and families
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Psychology, Childcare, Early Years, or a related subject
Passion for working with young people and supporting their growth
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience with children through placements, volunteering, or similar settings (desirable)
Adaptable, proactive, and committed to safeguarding (DBS required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
