Job Summary
We are seeking an innovative and HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist to join our growing team. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to work across multiple settings including mainstream and specialist schools, colleges, nurseries, EOTIS, neurodevelopmental assessment services, and residential environments. You will play a key role in supporting children and young people with complex needs, particularly those with SEN and those who are looked after (CLA).
Key Responsibilities
* Work directly with children and young people to understand their needs, strengths, and aspirations
* Conduct high-quality psychological assessments
* Collaborate with schools, educators, and parents/carers to implement effective support plans
* Develop and deliver tailored interventions to support learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development
* Provide training and workshops on SEN, neurodiversity, trauma, and attachment
* Produce clear, high-quality, person-centred reports
* Contribute to service development and promote inclusive practices
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop formulations and intervention plans
* Contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments (where appropriate and within competency)
Qualifications and Skills
You will be a qualified Educational Psychologist who:
* Is registered with the HCPC
* Experienced working with neurodivergent children and/or children in care
* Has strong knowledge of SEN, trauma-informed approaches, and attachment theory
* Is confident in delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions
* Communicates effectively and builds strong professional relationships
* Is passionate about inclusion and neuro-affirming practice
* Thrives in collaborative, multi-agency environments
